This was a week of worrying and waiting for us as we waited for the results of Hannah’s cat scan that was done on Tuesday. After reading the scan, her oncology team decided that she would remain in the clinical trial. It is always a relief to get the news we want to hear, because so often we do not. Hannah’s next treatment is on Tuesday, and now we will only have to go to the city on Tuesdays. Previously, we were also going on Fridays. The next scan is planned for about 2 months from now.
Homecoming is the next big event of the agenda, and thanks to all of my wonderful friends I teach with at St. Paul’s, Hannah and I have a big shopping trip planned to get the perfect dress and all the assessories to go along with it. Wouldn’t it just be awful if we had to go to more than one mall to find what we are looking for? Not!
Happy Birthday this past Friday to Austin who is now 12 years old. Just think, in 4 years he will be driving.
