It has been a while since we last posted. Medically speaking, things have been going pretty good. We have been concerned that Hannah’s heart has been racing, however, after an afternoon spent on the phone with her oncology team and the cardiologist, it was decided that the high heart rate was probably because of the medication that she begun to take again after a 3 month lapse. They started her at the same strength she had been on previously, and they felt that her body had not readjusted. We have lowered the dose and will see how she does in the next month. We headed down to Sloan for a check up this past Monday. She did have an echocardiogram just to confirm that her heart was okay, and there was not anything they could find through the echo that we had to worry about. Hannah also had a chest x-ray, and no significant changes were noted on the x-ray. So, we can breathe easier again this month and go on with our lives. She will be returning to Sloan on December 11 for her next check up. Of course, now that the kids in the family seem okay, the family dog just had to get into the act. He was hobbling around on 3 legs for about 24 hours, but seems okay now. I think he was just acting to get the sympathy. He was sure eating up all of the attention. We are looking forward to Thanksgiving, Hannah’s favorite meal of the year. We have so much to be thankful for. God has been good to us this year.
