We had a busy weekend, culminating in a trip to Shea Stadium to see the Mets vs. the Yankees. We had such a great time. We were with several other families from Memorial Sloan Kettering. This was part of the Stop and Shop campaign to raise money for pediatric cancer research. Hannah had the opportunity to go out on the field with the other 4 children to receive the check. It was cold and windy, but very exciting. Hannah and Bill stayed in the city for chemo. Hannah’s platelets finally came out good, though her white count was low. She is getting chemo this week, and seems to be feeling pretty good so far. On Tuesday evening, she walked to Central Park with Bill. Who knows where they will venture tonight?
