The blood drive held at the high school last week was very successful. Many of the donations came from students at the high school. I think the high school does another blood drive during the Great American Weekend in Goshen around the 4th of July. We are now turning our sights back to the Relay for Life. The kids are moving along with plans for their team. The team is calling themselves the Challengers, and their motto is Challenge Cancer. They have tentatively scheduled a car wash and bake sale for May 12th, so if you are in Goshen that day, stop by the bus garage for a car wash, and to buy dessert for you Mother’s Day get togethers. We will keep you posted on plans for the team. The Relay for Life in Goshen will be held June 8-9.
Hannah will be returning to Sloan on Monday, March 12. She will be having scans and will be meeting with her oncology team and her cardiologist. She has started taking new medication for her heart, and finally had a heart rate below 100 for the first time since August.
