Hannah’s first treatment is in the bag. She had the treatment this past Thursday and everything went well. We had another day of hurry up and wait, since she also had a series of tests throughout the day, with a lot of time to waste in between. We all get some good reading time in. Hannah is feeling pretty good. It is nice for her to have a treatment for once, and not feel poorly after. Her next treatment is scheduled for April 5th, with surgery on April 6th. We are relieved to get the treatments started.
Bill took Hannah into the city on Friday (yesterday) for her blood test. They ended up having an exciting day. Nathan and his roommate were going to accompany them back to Goshen, and after Bill picked them up from NYU, the car broke down in the middle of Manhattan. Nathan and his roommate decided to take the train back home, and after some hemming and hawing, Hannah decided that the train was a better option than waiting for the towtruck with dad and riding home in the truck. They made it back to Goshen two hours before Bill, and then we all went to the high school musical, Beauty and the Beast. Everyone involved in the production did a wonderful job!
Hannah has been getting a lot of visitors to her website, and we want to thank you all for the messages of support. We all enjoy reading them, and know that there are a lot of prayers out there for Hannah.
