Hannah got out of the hospital on Monday. On Sunday, she informed me that she would be coming home on Monday. I told her I wish she would, but I didn’t see that happening so soon. Do you have any idea how happy she was to call me on Monday with a big, fat “I told you so!” She has been back at Sloan on Wednesday and today for platelets. They sure are pesky. They have postponed next week’s chemo for at least a week since today they were only 9000, and we need that magic 75000 number. Tonight is the Relay for Life in Goshen. Hannah will be walking the survivor’s lap with other cancer survivors to kick off the event. Nathan and Colin are walking with teams they set up. Many cousins have already walked in her honor in different states, which meant a lot to our family. Of course, it’s raining, which always adds an additional fun element to any outing.
