Hannah’s Journey

I just came back from driving Hannah and Bill to the city for Hannah’s next chemo treatment. Each time I drop them off, it is one trip closer to Hannah finishing her treatment. We also drove down Lindsay and her mother who are also from Goshen. Lindsay started treatment a few weeks ago, and will also be having chemo tomorrow. Hannah had a great time in school last week. She enjoyed the opportunity to see all of her friends. She had an especially wonderful time at her eighth grade dance. She looked beautiful! It was an active week for her, so by Saturday, she was worn out, but bounced back on Sunday. She decided to give her father a “tickle me Curious George” doll for Father’s Day. I think the reasoning was that if he had something else to tickle, who actually appreciated it, maybe he wouldn’t tickle her as much. I really don’t see that happening, but she can always hope.
