Hannah’s Journey

I just got home from visiting my family in Chicago with Colin and attending my high school reunion. I won’t mention which one. Hannah and Austin were able to go back to camp on Monday. Friday, I received a call from Hannah letting me know that yes, she does have an immune system and is not quarantined any longer. The plan was for the two of them to go to camp on Monday, be picked up on Wednesday evening for pre-op on Thursday. Well, once again, cancer runs our life and not the other way around. Hannah’s surgery is rescheduled for Wednesday, August 2, with pre-op on Tuesday. Must be a conflict with the operating room. She is so happy to stay at camp until the end of the week, but worried that she will not be able to attend the last week as originally planned. We’ll cross that bridge once the surgery is over.
