First off, let me get this out of the way. WAY TO GO, GIANTS!

Hannah had a fairly interesting week this past week. On Wednesday, she had a bad headache so she stayed home from school. After lunch she called me to let me know that she was running a fever. Of course, her doctors wanted to see her. Her blood clot is still a very major concern so they want to check her when anything comes up.When we got to Sloan, they decided to hook Hannah up to fluids, watch her for a while, and then send her home for the night hooked up to fluids. We would return onThursday for a check-up and to get de-accessed. Well, things never turn out the way they are planned. Right when we were going to walk out the door, she started getting lines in her left eye and soon lost her periferal vision on that side. The episode only lasted about 15 minutes. I,with my rose-colored glasses on, thought migraine (you would think after all this time I would think out of the box). They thought blood clot, mini-stroke, etc. To make a long story short, we did not make it home and stayed in-patient until Friday.

Hannah spent her time in the hospital seeing neurologists, her cardiologist, an opthamologist, having a cat scan, MRI, echo-cardiogram. I mean to tell you, I don’t think we even made it through one movie. The end result of all this was that thankfully, the powers that be, do believe that she had a migraine. She had never had one before, so now she has these to look forward to also.

On Saturday, Hannah and I decided that since she has had chemotherapy, physical therapy, radiation therapy, and antibody therapy, we should have some retail therapy. We loaded up the wheelchair and spent the afternoon at the mall. It was the perfect way to spend a snowy afternoon.
