We had a nice early trip to Sloan Kettering today, and received only the best of news. The piece of her right lung that was biopsied came back as scar tissue, not cancer. We are so relieved. As a matter of fact, her surgeon said that it was the only birthday present Hannah needed. Needless to say, she did not agree with that! Her lung is healing nicely, and she got the okay to resume chemo on Monday. Just when she was growing some nice eyelashes back. I (mom) will be spending the week with her. Tomorrow, she turns 14, and we are so proud and blessed to be her parents.
