We are busy packing up and getting ready to go check into the Ronald McDonald House tonight. We decided to go tonight since we have to be at the hospital from 8:00 in the morning until 6:00 at night tomorrow. We can get a good night’s sleep and don’t have to get up as early to make it in to Manhattan. Hannah and I will pick Bill up from Newark Airport around 8:00 tonight, and he will drive us into the city. He will return home to stay with the boys until the surgery. I think the hardest part of this is the waiting. At least tomorrow we will be busy, and probably wishing we had time to relax.
We will not know until some time on Thursday what time Hannah’s surgery is scheduled for. We always hope for the morning, but it could be the afternoon surgery. We will probably not be able to post again until some time on Saturday. Please keep Hannah and our family in your prayers. We are all looking forward to Friday night when Hannah is out of surgery and hopefully resting comfortably.
