We found out on Tuesday that the new date for Hannah’s surgery will be Friday, May 4. She had a cat scan on Tuesday, and will have another treatment on Thursday (tomorrow). She will have an additional treatment in two weeks, and the surgery will follow the next day. Hannah is feeling good, and was able to go to school yesterday and today.
On Sunday, Bill and I attended a polo match at Gardnertown Farm, which was a benefit for Hannah. There are so many people to thank for putting together this match and for participating in it, especially Kim Sarles, the aunt of one of Hannah’s friends, and Bill and Trisha Dencker for hosting the event. Many people braved the pouring rain to come watch, and we met many wonderful people. Did you know that a polo game consists of four chukkars, each lasting 7½ minutes? I didn’t until Sunday. Thanks to all from the bottom of our hearts.
